About Us

Owner Michael Ode founded West Elevations in 2003. Prior to creating the business, Michael worked as a lead carpenter for small construction companies.

Personal Attention

Because we are a small company, we can dedicate our full attention to the client and project at hand. Michael personally oversees many aspect of each job, and typically handles custom carpentry himself.

Full Service

We offer skilled assistance with every phase of a construction project, including initial design. If your project requires an architect or interior design specialist, we'll be happy to make recommendations and help pair you up with a partner who meets your needs. We also have longstanding relationships with our sub-contractors, ensuring that each craftsperson on your job offers the same level of excellence we would provide ourselves. We love adding our own touch at the end of the job as well, with either a custom built-in or a piece of furniture.

Our Vision

Our goal is simple: to provide our clients what they want, within their budget, all while maintaining an efficient, pleasant and collaborative work environment. We look forward to working with you.

Our Team

We strive to bring a positive energy to all of our projects.  We like to collaborate with our clients and subcontractors to come up with unique ideas and solutions.  Our clients' homes are very dear to them.  We recognize and appreciate this and approach all of our work with this in mind.

Michael Ode | Owner - Michael uses his management and communication skills to make projects go as smoothly as possible.  Keeping all involved informed throughout the process to ensure our clients get exactly what they want.

Evan Williams | Supervisor - Evan can do just about everything.  His knowledge and skills relating to all the facets that go into a renovation make him an ideal supervisor.  That and his ability to work well with everyone.

Green

"I believe it is everyone’s responsibility to do what they can to help maintain a healthy environment. As owner of a construction company, I feel an even greater responsibility to show my commitment.”
West Elevations owner, Michael Ode

West Elevation is dedicated to using sustainable building practices. These include informing clients about alternative eco-friendly materials and minimizing waste on the jobsite by recycling wherever possible. We believe that the decision to renovate is itself a green decision, and are deeply committed to creating energy-efficient homes. Our personal touch is the furniture we build from reclaimed wood. Sometimes using materials from the demolition phase of a renovation to create a unique piece for the finished home.

Our workshop and office illustrate our green philosophy.
Here are a few highlights:

  • The siding and exterior trim boards are from Colorado beetle kill lumber.
  • Engineered lumber was used as much as possible for structural aspects.
  • The building was designed for maximum solar gain during the winter months to keep heating demand low.
  • The electricity for the building is 100% Solar Powered.
